Troop 242 is beyond thrilled to announce a historic milestone for our troop: our very first Eagle Scout, Lealond!
Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout is the highest and most prestigious achievement in Scouting. This rigorous journey requires a major community service project, years of dedicated commitment, and the consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership.
Statistically, only a small percentage of all Scouts ever reach the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout. Lealond has earned this remarkable distinction by steadfastly living out the Scout Oath and Scout Law, showcasing outstanding character, and leading by example every step of the way.
We also want to extend our heartfelt kudos and gratitude to Lealond’s entire family. We know that behind every Eagle Scout is a tremendous amount of family support, late nights, and behind-the-scenes hard work—not just for Lealond, but in supporting others along the journey as well.
